Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nghiem Xuan Huong attended the celebration of Vietnamese Teachers' Day in Luc Nam district.

On the morning of November 17, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Huong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended the ceremony to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20), the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Tu Son High School, Luc Nam District. Also attending were representatives of the Departmentof Education and Training, Luc Nam District.

At the ceremony, delegates, teachers and students of Tu Son High School reviewed the establishment and development process of the school. In 1984, Tu Son High School, formerly Luc Nam Ethnic Youth School, was established with only 5 classrooms and 5 teachers teaching all subjects. With the attention and leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and the Department of Education and Training, up to now, Tu Son High School has a spacious facility with a system of classrooms and functional rooms fully equipped with equipment, tools, and teaching aids, meeting the organization of teaching and learning of subjects and educational activities. The quality of education is constantly improving, the provincial excellent student awards are increasingly developing, ranking in the top 20-25 of the province in the high school sector, every year there are 12-17 provincial excellent cultural student awards and 10-18 provincial sports awards. The average high school graduation rate is 99.5%. Many students have high average scores in the 3 university entrance exams, with many students achieving maximum scores.

With the achievements in recent years, the school has been awarded many noble awards and titles such as: Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee, Emulation Flag from the Provincial People's Committee, ... and many certificates of merit and certificates of merit at all levels. In 2015, the school achieved national standards level I.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nghiem Xuan Huong acknowledged and commended the achievements that Tu Son High School has achieved in recent times.

He emphasized that Bac Giang province is entering a new stage of development with great aspirations: "By 2025, Bac Giang will be among the leading provinces in the country, becoming a new growth pole in the North of the country and by 2030, becoming a modern industrial province." To achieve this, the education sector and Tu Son High School must do a good job of training human resources, nurturing talents, and fully preparing the young generation to be steadfast in facing new challenges.

Faced with new requirements of practice, he requested the Party Committee, the School Board, teachers and students of Tu Son High School to focus on implementing well the key tasks that the industry and authorities at all levels have deployed.

He suggested that the school pay attention to building a team of cadres, teachers and employees; organize training, retraining and fostering of managers, teachers and employees to meet new requirements and tasks. In addition, pay attention to taking care of the material and spiritual life of the teaching staff. Build a truly united, unified and democratic school community in all aspects.

He requested the education sector to continue promoting its traditions and achievements, continue to overcome difficulties, and lead and direct the entire sector to fully implement the tasks of the new school year and well implement the theme of the 2024-2025 school year. Proactively advise on continuing to invest in facilities for schools; pay special attention to the fields of digital transformation, promote the application of information technology; improve the quality of the team. Promote foreign language learning, combine learning with practice; pay attention to comprehensive education. In addition, ensure a clean, tidy and orderly learning and living environment. Build a healthy cultural environment; focus on innovating teaching content and methods; promote students' initiative and creativity; build happy schools.

Luc Nam District Party Committee and People's Committee are interested in creating all conditions for all levels of education and schools in the area so that students can study best.
