Developing a reading culture and connecting generations in the family

The contest aims to spread and develop reading culture in every family and community, aiming to build and form beauty in the cultural and spiritual life of the people, contributing to building a learning society; introduce the family bookshelf model; encourage participation in building family bookshelf, clan bookshelf, in order to sustainably maintain reading habits, arouse the spirit of reading, respect knowledge, stimulate the spirit of self-reading and self-study in every family.

At the same time, the contest also aims to mobilize and launch a movement to create family bookcases, deploy the model "Family reading books - Connecting love" among cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, union members, association members and people of the capital; commend, honor and recognize typical families, clans and individuals, replicate good models, good and creative practices...

The contest is open to family members (multiple generations are encouraged to participate); enter by creating a 10-minute video clip.

The contest consists of 3 parts. Part 1: Greeting (2 minutes), introducing each family member, typical reading activities in the family. Part 2: Introducing the family bookshelf (4 minutes), filming the family bookshelf and reading activities of family members; presenting on building a family bookshelf to spread and develop reading culture and connect generations in the family. Part 3: Propagating and introducing books (4 minutes), introducing a work in the family bookshelf that has left the deepest impression on the family.

The Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports will deploy the plan to districts, towns and cities. The district level will deploy the organization to the grassroots level and select 3-5 quality video clips to participate in the city-level contest.

The Organizing Committee will receive video clips for the city-level competition at Hanoi Library (47 Ba Trieu, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi), email address tvhnphongtrao@gmail.com until September 20.

The contest is expected to award 30 prizes, including 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 6 third prizes, and 20 consolation prizes. Families who win prizes at the city-level contest will be awarded certificates of merit and cash prizes according to regulations. The closing and awarding ceremony is expected to take place on October 5./.
