A week before the full moon of the seventh lunar month (ghost month), many trucks from all over flock to Song Ho commune, Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province, to sell votive paper products. The commune has two villages: Dong Ho and Dao Tu, which have long been the largest centers for votive paper production in the country. Customers often come here to order on holidays, death anniversaries, 49 days, 100 days, Tet or Vu Lan.
