Mr. Trinh Van Anh was re-elected as Chairman of the Journalists Association of Bac Giang province.

In the 2024-2029 term, the Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association aims to promptly disseminate Party directives and resolutions and State policies and laws to members; organize 10 specialized training courses and 3 specialized seminars on journalism and the Association's work.

The Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association strives to have 100% of its branches meet the strong standards every year, 50% achieve the excellent collective status of the Vietnam Journalists Association; no members violate the law, the Association's charter and the professional ethics of Vietnamese journalists.

The Association strives to have at least 3 high-quality press works win the National Press Award and the Central specialized press award each year; organize at least 2 press awards of the Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association each year in coordination with departments, branches, sectors and press agencies in the province.

To achieve the set goals, the Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association continues to innovate the content, methods of operation and professional training for journalists and members in many forms. The Association promptly protects the legitimate rights and interests as well as enhances the responsibility of members in professional activities.

The Executive Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association for the 2024-2029 term was introduced at the congress.

Speaking at the congress, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Nguyen Duc Loi and Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee Phan The Tuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association in the past term.

Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee Phan The Tuan suggested that in the coming term, the Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association continue to promote the glorious tradition of generations of journalists, closely follow and well implement the propaganda direction and orientation of the Central Government, Party committees and authorities at all levels.

The Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association promotes creativity, proactiveness, bold innovation, and proposes solutions to improve the effectiveness of disseminating political tasks of the province and the country, taking advantage of technology to improve the quality of information, and meeting the increasing needs of readers.

Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Nguyen Duc Loi suggested that, immediately after the congress, the Executive Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association for the 2024-2029 term urgently develop programs and action plans for the entire term and each year, and organize practical activities towards the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Journalists Association, the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press and the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Journalists Association.

The Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association regularly focuses on building a strong organization from the grassroots level, improving the quality of members and the activities of branches. The Association actively encourages and motivates members and journalists to participate in national journalism awards and journalism awards launched by central ministries and branches.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association, term XI, consisting of 9 members. Mr. Trinh Van Anh was re-elected as Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association, term XI.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association awarded Certificates of Merit to a group and 5 individuals. The Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 groups and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in the Association's work and press activities in the period 2019-2024. The Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 19 groups and individuals.
