Kinhtedothi - On the afternoon of February 18, the People's Council of Da Lat City (Lam Dong Province) held its 17th session, Mr. Tran Duc Nam was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Da Lat City, term XII.
Mr. Tran Duc Nam held the position of Head of the Propaganda Department of the Da Lat City Party Committee before being elected.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Toi was also dismissed from the position of Vice Chairman of the 12th Da Lat City People's Council due to his transfer to work as Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Da Lat City Party Committee.
One of the important contents of the meeting is the streamlining of the organizational structure of Da Lat City, which includes the adoption of resolutions approving the termination of the operations of a number of departments and the establishment of new departments under the Da Lat City People's Committee.
Accordingly, the People's Council of Da Lat City voted to approve the termination of the activities of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Department of Economy; at the same time, approved many resolutions to establish new departments under the People's Committee of Da Lat City, including: Department of Home Affairs; Department of Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Areas; Department of Agriculture and Environment; Department of Culture, Science and Information.
In addition, the People's Council of Da Lat City also passed a Resolution approving the public investment plan for 2025 and adjusting and supplementing the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 in the city.
These resolutions are aimed at optimizing the administrative apparatus, improving management efficiency and serving the city's development needs in the coming time.
