Car carrying 9 people was thrown by train while crossing the road in Hai Phong

Confirming with reporters, on the evening of August 27, the leader of An Duong district, Hai Phong city said: The accident between a train and a car left 2 people seriously injured, 7 others were taken to a medical facility for health check-ups.

Specifically, the accident occurred at 8:30 p.m. The car carrying 9 people was traveling from National Highway 5 and turned onto the crossroad leading to Quan Nga residential area, Tan Tien commune.

The car was hit head-on by the Hai Phong- Hanoi train, thrown far away. As a result, the car was severely damaged, the front part was crushed. Authorities and local people took the 9 victims to the hospital.

The cause of the accident is being investigated by An Duong District Police.
