US President Joe Biden has pledged a peaceful and orderly transfer of power, while President-elect Donald Trump has begun appointing staff for his incoming administration.
Biden's message
In a speech at the White House on the morning of November 7 (US time), President Biden called on the American people to "cool down" after the Republican Party representative's victory and sought to comfort Democrats who were worried about the return of former President Trump, according to Reuters.
