9th grade female students fight in class before 10th grade exam, commune People's Committee gives urgent instructions

According to a document sent to the press, the People's Committee of Ta Thanh Oai commune informed about the incident as follows: At 9:10 a.m. on March 20 (Wednesday), in classroom 9A5 of Ta Thanh Oai Secondary School, a number of 9th grade students got into a fight during recess. The conflict arose from messages on social networks between two students, TKL of class 9A1 and NTL of class 9A5.

After learning about the incident, the People's Committee of Ta Thanh Oai commune directed the commune police to quickly verify and requested the Board of Directors of Ta Thanh Oai Secondary School to coordinate, promptly encourage and visit the families and students so that they can soon stabilize their psychology and return to school.

The case has also been recorded and resolved in accordance with the provisions of law.

On the side of Thanh Tri District People's Committee, this unit issued a notice on March 27 criticizing the school principal in performing the duties and responsibilities of the head. The district requested the principal and the board of directors to learn from experience and not let similar incidents arise.

The Department of Education and Training of Thanh Tri district and related units have visited and encouraged the family of the student involved in the incident, and worked with the district hospital to provide maximum support to the family in examining and caring for the student to recover soon and return to school.

Ta Thanh Oai Secondary School will establish a disciplinary council to consider how to handle the students involved in the incident according to regulations, ensuring strictness, education, and humanity.

Homeroom teachers are assigned to monitor and help students reconcile, get along, and study hard together as the 10th grade entrance exam is approaching.

Previously, according to the complaint of NTL's family, the father discovered that his daughter had injuries on her face, so he asked and learned that she was beaten in class, and there was a clip recording this scene. Upon examining her body, NTL's father discovered many other injuries on her head and face.

The family informed the homeroom teacher and took the child to Bach Mai Hospital for examination. NTL was then treated at Thanh Tri District Hospital.

In the clip, two female students TKL and NTL argued with each other before the fight. Two other students joined in beating NTL. Many students standing around intervened and pulled the students who were fighting away. One student hugged NTL tightly to prevent his friend from being beaten.
