The immortal vitality of the Vietnamese ao dai always urges designer Thoa Tran to constantly innovate, both preserving the traditional values of the ao dai and being flexible and adaptable so that this traditional costume is suitable for every class, profession... in a society that is digitalizing every day.

Not only "telling the story" of Ao Dai throughout the S-shaped strip of land through impressive collections that have left many marks, designer Thoa Tran also cherishes the idea of bringing the Vietnamese Ao Dai to shine on the stage of friends around the world, so that friends of Vietnam can understand Vietnamese culture and love the country and the friendly, lovable and hospitable Vietnamese people.
Recently, designer Thoa Tran was honored to participate in presenting a collection of Ao Dai at the 78th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (1945-2023) and the 50th Anniversary of Vietnam-Malaysia Diplomatic Relations (1973-2023) in Malaysia.

“I am extremely happy to be able to attend a performance on a foreign stage, 'telling' the story of Vietnamese culture on a special stage, bringing a message about a modern, integrated and developed Vietnam that still preserves traditional values, humanity, loves peace, and wants to be friends with all countries in the world.
I believe that cultural diplomacy can touch people’s hearts, bring people closer together and create lasting and unshakable values. This experience is the motivation for me to compose, design and spread more values of Vietnamese Ao Dai to more countries in the future,” designer Thoa Tran shared.
Currently, in addition to nurturing new Ao Dai collection projects, every day, designer Thoa Tran is always diligently in the journey of training "seeds" with training projects across the provinces. What designer Thoa Tran brings to each student is not only to awaken the passion for design but also creativity, the spirit of learning, the determination to conquer all limits to have the most perfect, most sophisticated and most applicable products.

Designer Thoa Tran’s creative efforts in Ao Dai collections and her desire to bring Vietnamese Ao Dai to shine on the international stage are also a source of inspiration for students. Thoa Tran always researches day and night the “forms” and unique features of Ao Dai to further develop the Design Academy, becoming a “common home” for many designers who share the same passion for Ao Dai and design.
Having gone through many ups and downs in life as well as in her own passion, designer Thoa Tran understands more than anything the power of inspiration and effort to reach the end of passion, when trying and reaching the end of passion, the "sweet fruit" will naturally come! Thoa Tran always brings positive energy and the spirit of never giving up to any student pursuing this career. Those are also the values that Thoa Tran wants to spread to contribute to building a sustainable and developing time design community.
