At the conference, the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province awarded 7 investment registration certificates and 7 project development research memorandums with a total expected investment capital of more than 120,000 billion VND to 14 domestic and foreign investors.

Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the efforts and striving of the Party Committee, government and people of Ninh Thuan province to have many positive changes in socio-economic development and achieve important achievements, especially in the past 10 years.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the planning of Ninh Thuan province plays a particularly important role, reorganizing the province's development space in close connection with the provinces of the South Central region, organizing socio-economic activities of Ninh Thuan province according to 4 territorial regions, 3 dynamic regions, 3 development corridors, 5 important breakthrough industry groups, taking marine economy and urban economy as the driving force for development.

Therefore, the Prime Minister requested Ninh Thuan province to urgently complete and effectively implement the planning to coordinate and manage in a unified manner, ensuring connectivity, synchronization, unity, efficiency and sustainable development with a long-term vision, overall development orientation, regional linkage, promoting potentials and advantages, strongly developing the economy, society and protecting the environment.

To solve the problem of resources for planning implementation, the Prime Minister proposed 5 viewpoints, 5 requirements and 5 tasks for Ninh Thuan province to thoroughly grasp and implement the planning, such as: taking people as the center, the subject as the driving force, resources, and goals for development to implement the approved planning. To effectively implement the planning work, the Prime Minister suggested that Ninh Thuan prioritize resources to implement key and focal sectors in the planning, avoiding rambling...

"Ninh Thuan must closely follow the planning of the industry, region, and country with a strategic vision and innovative thinking to synchronously implement the planning of the province, and must not disrupt the planned space," the Prime Minister emphasized.

Ninh Thuan's GRDP scale in 2023 will reach 52,753 billion VND, an increase of 5.97 times compared to 2010; the growth rate in the period 2010 - 2023 will reach an average of 8.6%/year, higher than the average growth rate of the whole country. In 2023 alone, the GRDP growth rate will reach 9.4%, ranking 9th out of 63 provinces/cities and 2/14 provinces and cities in the North Central and Central Coast regions; the economic structure will shift in the right direction; cultural and social fields will make much progress, and people's lives will be improved.
