In 2025, Ninh Giang district was assigned to recruit male citizens to join the army for 6 key units under the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 3.
After completing the medical examination, the Ninh Giang District Military Service Council coordinated with the military units to organize the "3 meetings, 4 knowledge" infiltration including: Meeting citizens, meeting families, meeting the locality and knowing health, culture, background, and moral qualities.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Tran Phuong Nam, Commander of the Ninh Giang District Military Command, some units receiving soldiers together with the command's officers directly went to the area to infiltrate and verify. This is the basis for the unit and locality to finalize the list and issue orders to call citizens to join the army in accordance with regulations.
"Some young people who work far away, in businesses and working groups, have flexibly infiltrated in the evenings or on Saturdays and Sundays," said Lieutenant Colonel Tran Phuong Nam.
Ninh Giang town is considered a bright spot of the district in the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army, doing well the "3 meetings, 4 knowing" steps. To make the infiltration work highly effective, the locality has mobilized the entire political system to participate with high determination.
Ninh Giang town arranged a working group to meet each case, to better understand the circumstances, thoughts and aspirations of each young person. The groups propagated and disseminated the policies of the Party and State so that families and young people could clearly understand the rights and obligations of each citizen during and after completing their military service.
The infiltration work of “3 meetings, 4 knowledges” is carried out strictly, publicly, transparently, and in accordance with regulations. From the “3 meetings, 4 knowledges” stage, families and young people themselves also see the attention of Party committees, authorities and military units, and clearly understand the Party and State’s policies and guidelines for citizens when performing military service.
Young man Dinh Cong Anh in Tranh Xuyen residential area, Ninh Giang town, wrote a volunteer application to join the army and is eligible to join the army this year. He said: "The local authorities often visit and encourage me, so I feel more secure and confident in my choice."
