Pursuant to the Law on Military Service dated June 19, 2015, Decision No. 102/QD-TTg dated September 20, 2024 of the Prime Minister on calling citizens to join the army in 2025, Instruction No. 4705/HD-BQP dated October 31, 2024 of the Ministry of National Defense on selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2025, from February 13 to February 15 (ie from January 16 to 18, At Ty year), young people nationwide will leave to perform military service in 2025.
In 2025, the selection and call-up of citizens for military service will be carried out in one batch. According to the plan, the 2025 military enlistment ceremony in localities will take place over 3 days.
Specifically, on February 13, 52 provinces and cities held military handover ceremonies, including the Hanoi Capital Command; 6 provinces of Military Region 1; 4 provinces of Military Region 2; 9 provinces and cities of Military Region 3; 11 provinces and cities of Military Region 5; 9 provinces and cities of Military Region 7; 12 provinces and cities of Military Region 9.
On February 14, 6 provinces and cities held military handover ceremonies (belonging to Military Region 4).
On February 15, 5 provinces (belonging to Military Region 2) held military enlistment ceremonies. In order for the 2025 military recruitment to meet the assigned quota, ensure quality, and comply with the provisions of the Law on Military Service, the Ministry of National Defense has instructed localities to recruit soldiers to perform well the military service registration and management of citizens of military service age; improve the quality of voting, and propose male citizens of military service age to participate in the preliminary military service selection to ensure democracy, fairness, and transparency.
The organization of reviewing citizens temporarily deferred from military service, exempted from military service, and citizens eligible for military service is conducted strictly and seriously, not allowing wrong subjects or missing citizens to join the army.
In addition, localities have directed and organized the consolidation of Military Service Councils at all levels and Military Service Health Examination Councils at district level with the right composition; strictly assigned tasks and linked the responsibilities of each organization and individual with the quality of military recruitment; ensured adequate medical equipment and supplies; assigned experienced, capable and highly qualified officers and employees to participate in military service health examinations, ensuring quality, accurate conclusions in accordance with regulations and taking responsibility for their conclusions.
Localities that conscript soldiers have strengthened the leadership and direction of local Party committees and authorities at all levels, promoted the role and responsibility of all levels, sectors, socio-political organizations and people's supervision of conscription work; directed the effective implementation of propaganda, dissemination and education of laws on military service; had specific plans and implemented legal conscription stages and steps, ensuring sufficient quotas, quality and time for conscription.
In order to prepare well for military recruitment, up to this point, the localities sending soldiers and the units receiving soldiers have regularly exchanged, coordinated, and closely organized the implementation of stages and steps in the military recruitment process to ensure targets, quality, and absolute safety.
The units receiving the recruits have developed plans and methods to receive and transport new recruits to their units; carefully prepared accommodation and living conditions for the soldiers from the first day they arrive./.
