This is the route connecting Nam Truc, Truc Ninh, Xuan Truong, Hai Hau, Giao Thuy districts and Nam Dinh city.

This project has a total investment of VND 2,655 billion; the route length is 65.58km; passing through 3 districts of Giao Thuy, Hai Hau and Nghia Hung, and is expected to be open to traffic on June 30, 2024.
A traffic project also with an investment of thousands of billions of VND in Nam Dinh is under construction, which is the Day River overpass connecting Ninh Binh and Nam Dinh provinces on the Ninh Binh - Nam Dinh - Thai Binh - Hai Phong expressway, with an investment capital of 1,450 billion VND.
In addition, Nam Dinh province currently has a number of other important traffic projects under construction, such as the construction of a bridge across the Dao River connecting Song Hao Street to Vu Huu Loi Street (Nam Dinh City), and the southern axis road of Nam Dinh City (from Vu Huu Loi Street to National Highway 21B).
Speaking to Giao Thong Newspaper reporters, engineer Pham Van Ngoc, representative of the construction unit of the bridge project across Dao River, said that up to now, the project has achieved about 70% progress, with more than 200 workers working in shifts day and night.

"Although the weather is extremely hot in the early summer days, all workers and technical staff are trying to complete the set schedule. We are striving to open the technical traffic by March 2025, ensuring the progress of the entire project," Mr. Ngoc informed.
Mr. Dinh Van Phuong, Director of the Nam Dinh Province Construction Investment Project Management Board, said that with the attention and direction of the provincial leaders, the coordination of functional departments, branches and districts and cities, the traffic projects in Nam Dinh are basically favorable in terms of site clearance and are provided with the best human resources to ensure the correct construction progress.
At the new Nam Dinh - Lac Quan - coastal road project, the contractor is urgently constructing, along the entire route, digging and filling the foundation for about 24.4/24.66km and organizing the construction of bridges and culverts on the route.
According to Mr. Dinh Van Phuong, at this time, contractors are mobilizing the maximum workforce of about 300 main workers and nearly 200 machines and equipment to ensure good contract progress and strive to complete the project by the second quarter of 2025.

Mr. Pham Hong Thai, Deputy Director of the Department of Transport of Nam Dinh province, said that the completed projects put into operation will promote investment efficiency, shortening the distance from the southern districts of the province to the center of Nam Dinh city and neighboring provinces.
From there, it contributes to connecting dynamic regions, growth poles and economic corridors of the province, opening up development space for coastal urban areas such as Thinh Long, Quat Lam, Rang Dong and industry.
"In particular, the Nam Dinh province's marine economic zone, connected to the national arterial traffic route of the North-South Expressway, will contribute to promoting the rapid formation of economic zones with specialized functions according to the province's planning orientation and positive effects in trade and socio-economic development.
Thereby, creating a breakthrough in socio-economic development, promoting tourism development of the marine economic zone of Nam Dinh province in particular and the Red River Delta region in general," said Mr. Thai.
