Dragon City Park is one of the big real estate projects that stirred up the market in Da Nang many years ago. But until now, the project is still deserted and overgrown with grass.
The Dragon City Park Green Urban Area project has an area of over 78 hectares in Hoa Lien commune, Hoa Vang district and Hoa Hiep Nam ward, Lien Chieu district; with the northwest bordering the residential area south of Nguyen Tat Thanh extended road, the southwest bordering the Trung Son Hill historical relic site, the northeast bordering the Hoa Hiep 3 resettlement area and the southeast bordering the drainage ditch and the 65 m wide green tree line.
Approved by Da Nang City in 2011 at a scale of 1/500, Dragon City Park is one of the major real estate projects in the Da Nang market.
By 2019, Da Nang adjusted the planning, reducing the area by 8.4 hectares to make a resettlement area. The area of the Dragon City Park project is nearly 70 hectares.
From around 2017 to 2018, Dat Xanh Mien Trung (now Regal Group) distributed land plots to investors. But up to now, about 1,000 customers (out of a total of about 2,000 land plots) have not yet received red books.
According to the reporter's records, the project's infrastructure is quite complete but is currently abandoned, with many streets uninhabited.
Many large areas of land are abandoned and overgrown with grass.
People take advantage of the project's grassy area to graze livestock.
Some items show signs of deterioration.
It is known that due to problems with land allocation procedures and land price regulations, the Dragon City Park green urban area project is in the above situation.
Currently, Da Nang City and relevant agencies are waiting for the Government's opinion to come up with a solution to the customer's request for red books.
