Many outstanding factors won the 2024 National Youth Badminton Championship

The tournament kicked off on June 11, gathering 142 athletes from 21 provinces, cities and sectors across the country. The athletes were aged from 8 to 14, competing in two categories: mixed team and individual (men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, mixed team).

The tournament brings together 142 outstanding young athletes of Vietnam.

In the team event, the duo Khanh My and Thuc Tran proved to be excellent. Khanh My and Thuc Tran outscored their opponents with a score of 21-4 in the final match, officially helping Ho Chi Minh City continue to maintain the highest position. Meanwhile, the second place belonged to the Hanoi team, and the third place belonged to the Bac Giang and Lam Dong teams.

In the individual event, tennis player Tran Thi Anh (Thai Binh) defeated Pham Thi Truc An (Thai Binh) to win the women's singles championship. In the men's singles event, tennis player Tran Quoc Khanh (Bac Giang) defeated Tran Hoang Kha (Ho Chi Minh City) to win the highest position.

In the women's doubles event, the first place officially belonged to the couple Khanh My - Kim Hang (HCMC), surpassing their opponents Khanh Ngoc - Ngoc Tran from Lam Dong.

In the men's doubles event, two players from Hanoi, Pham Van Truong and Vu Trung Kiet, won the championship, followed by the pair Quang Huy and Dang Khanh from Ho Chi Minh City.

In the final event, mixed doubles, the championship belonged to two players Pham Van Truong and Bui Bich Phuong (Hanoi), second place went to the pair Hoang Anh Minh and Luong Nguyen Khanh Ngoc (Lam Dong). In third place were the pair Bui Anh Khoa - Nguyen Hai Ha (Hai Phong) and Nguyen Hoang Thai Son - Vu Thi Hoa (Bac Giang).

The tournament is a necessary playground for young Vietnamese athletes.

The 2024 Donex Cup National Youth Badminton Championship officially concluded with many brilliant victories. In addition to the exciting atmosphere throughout the tournament, the athletes competed with all their might and strong sportsmanship, giving the audience shining and satisfying moments on the court.

The tournament is increasingly improving in quality, the organization is professional and thoughtful, the referees follow the plan and regulations, work responsibly, objectively, openly and transparently. In addition, the enthusiastic and energetic cheering of the fans has also contributed to the overall success of the tournament.

The 2024 National Youth Badminton Championship is not only a playground for young talents to improve their professional qualifications and competitive ability, but also a basis for testing and evaluating the quality of coaching and training, thereby discovering and selecting outstanding athletes to join the national team.
