Aiming for revenue of 60,000 billion VND
On January 17, in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism organized a meeting with tourism businesses in early 2025 with the participation of nearly 200 delegates representing tourism businesses inside and outside the province.
At the Conference, Mr. Phan Dinh Phung - Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism said that in 2025, Khanh Hoa tourism aims to welcome 11.8 million tourists; of which about 5.2 million international tourists, 6.6 million domestic tourists, tourism revenue reaches 60,000 billion VND.
To achieve the above goal, from the beginning of 2025, the tourism industry has advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue the Tourism Action Program 2025 with 33 tasks related to developing new, high-end tourism products; organizing activities to promote and advertise domestic and foreign tourism; strengthening human resource training and developing community tourism.
In particular, the new Plan to implement the Vietnam tourism development strategy in Khanh Hoa province for the period 2025-2030, with a vision to 2045, implemented by the consulting unit Gatiya - Dubai, along with many other activities and programs...
In 2025, the tourism industry also sets goals and plans to organize promotions in countries that are potential markets of Khanh Hoa such as Russia (March 2025), China (May 2025), Australia (September 2025), and South Korea (November 2025).
Mr. Phan Dinh Phung also added that in 2025, the tourism industry will focus on implementing the operation of the Tourist Support Information Operation Center, collecting, synthesizing, and analyzing data on tourists, tourism products, tourism services, tourist destinations... to serve the management, operation, and support of tourists.
In parallel, the Tourism Information Portal is operated to provide complete, accurate and timely information about Khanh Hoa tourism to tourists, businesses and the community; AI applications to look up information, forecast tourism trends, support decision making and improve the efficiency of management and service for tourists; smart mobile applications...
Multiple stimulus packages
Mr. Pham Minh Nhut, Permanent Vice President of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association said that to complete the above goal, the Association continues to act as a bridge for businesses, coordinating with the tourism industry of Khanh Hoa province to organize and participate in introducing tourism products of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa in tourism promotion programs in key markets abroad.
At the same time, the Hotel Association mobilizes accommodation businesses to continue implementing the tourism stimulus program in 2025 with direct bookings enjoying incentives such as international guests staying 4 nights will receive 1 free night; domestic guests staying 5 nights will receive 1 free night...
At the same time, the Travel Association mobilizes travel businesses to organize the development of new and diverse products to serve international and domestic tourists...
However, Mr. Pham Minh Nhut said that to do this well, Khanh Hoa tourism businesses need to join hands together; accommodation businesses, tourist areas, and tourist service points must strictly follow the standards in the tourism sector, affirming that Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa is a "civilized, friendly, secure and safe" destination.
“Khanh Hoa tourism industry really needs the joint support of all levels and sectors, timely direction from the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee, especially the close and dynamic coordination of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism in implementing tourism stimulus programs in the coming time” - Mr. Pham Minh Nhut shared.
Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Thieu acknowledged and commended the efforts and contributions of businesses, departments, sectors and localities to the development of the tourism industry in recent times. However, for tourism to develop sustainably, the tourism industry, localities and businesses need to join hands to make more efforts.
Accordingly, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu requested that in the coming time, Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism shall preside over and coordinate with local departments, branches, and enterprises to urgently implement tasks in the Khanh Hoa Tourism Action Program in 2025, in which it is necessary to pay attention to promoting events to businesses and domestic and foreign tourists.
At the same time, continue to research and accelerate the application of digital transformation in the tourism industry; proactively implement communication activities, promote advertising, stimulate demand to attract tourists, strengthen communication to affirm Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa as a safe, quality, attractive and friendly destination for tourists...
