Journalist Truong Duc Nghia was appointed Editor-in-Chief of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Newspaper.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Yen presented Decision No. 1079-QD/TU, dated December 11, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the appointment of Mr. Truong Duc Nghia, Deputy Editor-in-Chief to the position of Editor-in-Chief of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Newspaper. The term of appointment is 5 years from December 11, 2023.

At the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Yen expected that in his new position, the new Editor-in-Chief Truong Duc Nghia would continue to promote his capacity, experience and enthusiasm to lead the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Newspaper to continuously develop; unite, uphold the sense of responsibility with the collective Editorial Board, reporters, editors and employees of the Newspaper to fulfill their role as "soldiers on the ideological front", constantly innovate, improve the quality, content and form so that Ba Ria-Vung Tau Newspaper continues to be worthy of being the mouthpiece of the Party Committee, government and people of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen also hopes that Ba Ria-Vung Tau Newspaper will continue to coordinate with press agencies inside and outside the province, all levels, sectors, agencies and units to carry out propaganda work well, contributing to the common achievements of the Party Committee, government and people in the province.

In his acceptance speech, journalist Truong Duc Nghia expressed his deep gratitude for the attention and trust of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee when entrusting the responsibility of Editor-in-Chief of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Newspaper. At the same time, he promised to make efforts with the Editorial Board, reporters, editors, and employees of the Newspaper to promote tradition, solidarity, and determination to excellently complete all assigned tasks.
