Singer Ngoc Mai said she and her husband - circus actor Quoc Nghiep - like to have many children and plan to have another baby in the year of the dragon.
She talked about married life and how to maintain a warm family when facing many scandals at the beginning of the year. The singer said that she and Quoc Nghiep had taken wedding photos three times but many things happened that prevented them from having a wedding ceremony. "I wish to have many children to help their mother lift her wedding dress at the wedding. I don't mind having a baby but Quoc Nghiep always wants to have more babies," Ngoc Mai said.
The singer feels lucky to have met a husband who is like-minded. Quoc Nghiep is a man of few words but always encourages and supports her in her work and protects his wife from any unfortunate incidents. "When we encountered problems in our marriage, our love grew and blossomed," the singer said.
Ngoc Mai, 37 years old, originally from Quang Tri, has a coloratura lirico soprano voice. She then passed the entrance exam to the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. In 2013, the singer successfully defended her master's thesis in Vocal Performance, and has worked as a lecturer for 10 years. She was the head of the choir of the Lotus Music and Dance Theater in 2015-2016. After winning The Masked Singer, the singer continued her vocal teaching activities.
Quoc Nghiep, 35, received the title of Meritorious Artist at the age of 26. He was included in the "30 Under 30" list (30 successful young people voted by Forbes Vietnam magazine). The artist and his brother - Quoc Co - once set a Guinness World Record in Italy with a blindfolded head stack, walking up 10 stairs in 53.97 seconds. Both also made their mark on Britain's Got Talent. In February 2023, they set their last Guinness Record in Italy.
