The National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC) will organize question and answer activities from August 21 to the morning of August 22 at Dien Hong Room, National Assembly House and connect online television to 62 National Assembly delegations in provinces and cities with 2 groups of fields.
The first group of areas is the implementation of the resolutions of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on thematic supervision and questioning from the beginning of the 15th National Assembly term to the end of 2023, for the fields of: Agriculture and Rural Development; Industry and Trade; Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The second group of areas is the implementation of the resolutions of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on thematic supervision and questioning from the beginning of the 15th National Assembly term to the end of 2023, including the following areas: justice; internal affairs; security, order, and social safety; inspection; court; and prosecution.
The questioning will not be conducted in groups of issues as in regular meetings, but will question members of the Government and heads of relevant sectors about the shortcomings and limitations in implementing resolutions of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on thematic supervision and questioning from the beginning of the 15th National Assembly term to the end of 2023.
The content of the National Assembly delegate's question on the issue under the responsibility of an individual shall be directly answered by that individual under the direction of the chair. The person answering the question does not present a report, but may speak on the issue of the question no more than 5 minutes before the National Assembly delegate begins the questioning.
Each turn has 3-5 delegates asking questions, each delegate's question lasts no more than 1 minute; the person being questioned answers for no more than 3 minutes/question content.
During the questioning process, National Assembly deputies have the right to debate with the person answering the question, to clarify issues that have been answered but are not satisfactory; the debate time is not more than 2 minutes (National Assembly deputies register to question and debate via the National Assembly App).
At the end of the questioning session, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly issued a resolution as a basis for implementation.
The question and answer session was broadcast live on Voice of Vietnam Radio , televised live on Vietnam National Assembly Television, and Vietnam Television for voters to follow and monitor.
