The Russian military has carried out another attack with a hypersonic Kinzhal missile on the Yavorovsky training ground in the Lviv region. This facility, according to some reports, is used not only by the Ukrainian military but also by foreigners.
At the Yavorovsky training area, Ukrainian soldiers receive tactical, technical and medical training, as well as learn to operate military equipment. The facility plays an important role in the training system of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, ensuring high combat readiness and professionalism of Ukrainian servicemen.

The Yavorovsky training area is also used as one of the key logistics hubs for the transfer of Western-supplied weapons, military equipment and ammunition to eastern regions of Ukraine, making it an important target for Russia.
According to sources, the number of casualties and damage after the Russian attack is currently unknown. This is not the first time this training area has been attacked by Russian missiles. Previously, in March 2022, the Yavorovsky training area was completely destroyed by Russian missile attacks.
The attacks had serious consequences, affecting the combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian army and significantly weakening its training capabilities. The destruction of an important logistics center also slowed down the supply of weapons and equipment, negatively affecting the combat capabilities of Ukrainian forces on the front.
The massive attack on the Yavorovsky training area demonstrates Russia’s continued goal of weakening the Ukrainian Armed Forces and impairing their training and logistical capabilities. Attacks on critical infrastructure are aimed at destabilizing and destroying the military capabilities of the adversary.
The use of the Kinzhal hypersonic missile also underscores Russia's determination. These missiles are highly accurate and fast, making them virtually invulnerable to modern air defense systems.
Russian troops attacked and destroyed equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
