Efforts to build a "friendly school environment with active students"
Preventing school violence requires a three-pronged approach: family, school, and society. If even one leg is shaky, the problem is already there. First and foremost, every teacher must be a positive role model, focusing on communication skills and persuasive behavior. Schools need to keep a list of students at risk of violence and regularly share information and provide guidance to them.
Simultaneously, the school concretized the content of building a "friendly school, active students," implementing specific solutions and actions to create closeness between teachers and students, thereby helping students bridge gaps in thought and emotion, and form thoughts about appropriate behavior.
The school should strengthen its counseling and violation reporting mailbox and establish a counseling team to educate students about adolescent psychology, reproductive health, and other relevant issues. If teachers receive information about potential conflicts between two or more students, they should share this with the homeroom teacher, supervisor, or relevant organizations so that preventative measures can be taken.
