Ho Chi Minh City, August 23, 2024 - On the occasion of the new school year, Nestlé Vietnam continues to accompany partners in meaningful programs to support students in difficult circumstances.
Within the framework of the program “Supporting students to school” initiated by Tuoi Tre newspaper, after 8 years of accompanying, Nestlé Vietnam has supported nearly 10,000 students, helping to open up opportunities for many young people in remote areas, and areas that still face many difficulties. In 2024, Nestlé Vietnam will donate 1,500 backpacks to new students, with a total value of 250 million VND. This is a program to help young people realize their dream of going to university.
Nestlé accompanies the program "Supporting exam season" on June 28, 2024 at 162 exam locations in Ho Chi Minh City
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nguyen, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper, shared: “Tiep suc den truong is one of the major scholarships under the program “For tomorrow’s development” of Tuoi Tre Newspaper. Over the past 8 years, Nestlé Vietnam Company Limited has supported more than 10,000 gifts, which are very practical backpacks for new students, with a total value of nearly 2 billion VND. Nestlé Vietnam’s contributions have helped the program diversify its forms of support and spread love to the less fortunate youth in the community. We look forward to continuing to accompany the Company in upcoming community activities.”
In addition to the "Support to School" program, Nestlé Vietnam has also accompanied many community support programs, targeting workers and students in difficult circumstances.
Nestlé accompanies Golden Heart Fund to support workers
In 2024, Nestlé Vietnam also accompanied the Golden Heart Fund, Lao Dong Newspaper, and Ho Chi Minh City Student Association to donate nutritional products to thousands of students and workers with a total value of more than 500 million VND at events such as Spring Bus Trip, Exam Support, Green Summer Days, Workers' Month... In July 2024, Nestlé Vietnam also donated 180,000 beverage products with a total value of more than 2 billion VND to students in the Exam Support and Green Summer programs organized by the Student Association.
