At the reception, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to the traditional friendship and comprehensive partnership with Argentina; believes that the Minister's visit will contribute to promoting Vietnam-Argentina relations in the coming time, focusing on areas where both sides have potential and demand, including industry and agriculture, for the benefit of the people of the two countries, for peace, cooperation and development in the two regions and in the world.
The Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with the positive development of the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries in recent times as well as the good results of the official talks on the afternoon of March 19 between Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son and Minister Diana Elena Mondino.

The Prime Minister suggested that the two sides continue to coordinate closely to promote the exchange of delegations at all levels, especially high-ranking leaders between the two countries; at the same time, implement measures to strengthen bilateral relations, agree on the time to implement existing cooperation mechanisms between the two countries such as the Political Consultation between the two Foreign Ministries, the Intergovernmental Committee mechanism of the two countries; exchange and promote negotiations to sign cooperation documents to create a favorable legal corridor for business and investment activities as well as enhance trade connections, exchange information and create conditions for the two countries' strong products to access each other's markets, thereby continuing to enhance the value of bilateral trade exchanges between the two countries, towards long-term cooperation between Vietnamese and Argentine enterprises.
The Prime Minister requested that the two countries, on the basis of good economic and trade cooperation, continue to make efforts to promote the increase of bilateral turnover, thereby achieving substantial progress, especially Argentina supporting and promoting the early negotiation of the Vietnam-MERCOSUR FTA, contributing practically to the economic development of each country and MERCOSUR countries, creating long-term, strong relations and bringing the Vietnam-Argentina bilateral relationship to a new height.

The Prime Minister also requested that ministries, departments, branches and agencies of the two countries continue to coordinate to promote cooperation in other areas where both sides have needs and strengths such as culture, sports, football training, tourism, education and training, security and defense, opening up new areas of cooperation in climate change response, green development, digital transformation, circular economy, clean agriculture, maritime and aviation cooperation, cooperation in the production of animal feed, pesticides, vaccines for livestock, etc.; increase support for mutual consultation at multilateral forums and international organizations, promote cooperation between specific regional organizations such as between ASEAN and MERCOSUR.
Minister Diana Elena Mondino expressed her admiration and congratulations on Vietnam's great achievements in all aspects of Renovation, as well as its policies on macroeconomic management, inflation control, social security and sustainable development.

At the same time, the Minister affirmed that the Argentine Government highly values the growing role and position of Vietnam in the region and internationally; at the same time, he proposed that the two sides continue to pay attention to promoting cooperation in the fields of finance, tax, and aviation cooperation, which are areas that the Argentine Government is interested in promoting, and hoped that Vietnam would continue to pay attention to developing bilateral cooperation in agriculture and trade with Argentina, thereby aiming to soon establish a Vietnam-Argentina strategic partnership in the agricultural and industrial sectors in the near future, contributing significantly to continuing to create a stable and solid economic foundation in each country.
The Minister said that at the meetings with leaders of Vietnamese ministries and sectors, the two sides had in-depth discussions on issues of mutual concern, proposed specific measures and agreed on the bilateral cooperation program between Vietnam and Argentina in the coming time, especially in agricultural and trade cooperation as well as continuing to accelerate the process of unifying the negotiation of the Vietnam-MERCOSUR Free Trade Agreement.
On this occasion, the Minister also respectfully conveyed the invitation of President Javier Milei to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to make an official visit to Argentina in the near future on the occasion of attending multilateral international activities in the region. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh happily accepted the invitation and suggested that the two countries' Foreign Ministries continue to closely coordinate and arrange the visit at a time suitable for both sides.
