
(QNO) - On January 22, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision 121 on the assignment of civil servant positions in administrative agencies and organizations; the number of people working in public service units that have not been granted autonomy; and mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and State in 2024.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee decided to assign 3,126 civil servant positions in 2024. Specifically, at the provincial level, 22 agencies and units were assigned 1,396 positions by the Provincial People's Committee; of which, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development was assigned the largest number with 440 positions.
At the district level, the Provincial People's Committee assigned 1,724 civil servant positions; of which, Dien Ban was assigned the most with 114 positions and Nong Son was assigned the least with 72 positions. According to Resolution 67 dated December 29, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee decided to reserve 6 civil servant positions.
In Decision 121, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the number of employees in 2024 to public service units that have not been granted autonomy; mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and the State with a total of 30,119 people (of which, 27,698 people work and receive salaries from the state budget and 2,421 people work and receive salaries from the unit's career revenue).
In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also assigned 151 additional educational civil servants for the 2023-2024 school year to the District People's Committees and the Department of Education and Training.
