On the morning of March 16, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province held a conference to announce the Quang Nam Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, and to open the National Biodiversity Restoration Year - Quang Nam 2024.

Attending the conference were Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and leaders of central ministries, branches and local leaders.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang assessed that Quang Nam has many potentials, advantages, and room for future investment and development in economy, culture, and tourism.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, Quang Nam has received, is receiving and will receive great support from the central government, which is also the wish of the localities.
"With its awareness since the early years of the province's separation, Quang Nam has been attentive and careful in calling for investment and accompanying investors. Now Quang Nam has leading enterprises in the country, especially in the field of industrial development. It is completely possible to trust in the development of Quang Nam in the coming time," the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang also reminded Quang Nam leaders to pay attention to 8 words in implementing the planning.
The first is "compliance", because the greatest value of planning is the orientation and solutions to implement the orientation. If not complied with, it will not reach the desired destination.
Next is "flexibility", the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that it is flexible in the way of doing things, even for goals that do not have core values, along the way there is the right to change, or propose authority to change.
"Because talking about tomorrow is already here, talking about the next 7 years, and having a vision for the next 26 years is certainly not easy," the Deputy Prime Minister shared.
The next two words the Deputy Prime Minister mentioned are "synchronization". Quang Nam's planning must be synchronized with the national planning, regional planning, industry planning and a series of sub-plans below. If they are not synchronized, there are no conditions to do anything.
Quang Nam granted 16 decisions approving investment policies, investment registration certificates and agreements on researching investment locations to investors.
"The last two words are 'understand'. We, the responsible people, must understand to do. The people and businesses must understand to accompany us, together with us, to detect incorrect and bad points so that we can promptly correct them," said the Deputy Prime Minister.
More than 20 trillion registered for investment in Quang Nam
According to Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, in the process of development over the past time, the province has always been deeply aware that economic development must go hand in hand with protecting the living environment, emphasizing the work of conserving nature and biodiversity, protecting and developing natural ecosystems at national and international levels.
The announcement of the provincial planning is the first step, the implementation journey is very long, the goal is very big with many advantages as well as difficulties and challenges.
At today's conference, we witnessed the awarding of 16 decisions approving investment policies, investment registration certificates and agreements on researching investment locations with a total registered capital of approximately 20 trillion VND.
These are important projects to concretize and realize the provincial planning, and are also good signals to attract more domestic and foreign investors.
Mr. Triet also suggested that immediately after this conference, all levels, sectors and localities of the province should be proactive in their work, closely coordinate with central departments, ministries and sectors to immediately deploy the next tasks to organize management and implement the provincial planning, and promptly develop a plan to implement the provincial planning to submit to the Prime Minister for approval.
At the same time, research, propose, and issue mechanisms, policies, and implementation solutions in accordance with the provincial planning implementation plan. Focus on research, consultation, administrative procedure reform, improving the investment environment, and maximizing resource mobilization, especially social resources and resources from the people to serve development...
There are high-quality vocational training facilities; a rich cultural identity; most medical and educational facilities meet national standards; and a synchronous urban system linked to rural areas.
