In Decision No. 1488-QDNS/TW dated August 16, 2024, the Politburo decided that comrade Tran Luu Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Government Party Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, ceased to hold the position of member of the Government Party Committee, transferred, assigned, and appointed to hold the position of Head of the Central Economic Committee.
