Delegates from the Ministry of Public Security included Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; and the Ministry's working delegation.

The leaders of Nghe An province include comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Head of Steering Committee 1838; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of Steering Committee 1838; Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Bui Dinh Long - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office.

The leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police include Major General Pham The Tung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police, and comrades in the Board of Directors and units.

Responding to the Program to mobilize and support the construction of houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties in the province of the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, promoting the spirit of "forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people", the Ministry of Public Security has proactively called for and mobilized the help and support of sponsors and benefactors to support Nghe An province to build 1,420 houses for 27 border communes in 6 districts: Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Que Phong, Con Cuong, Anh Son, Thanh Chuong.

At the same time, Nghe An Police mobilized support for 1,000 houses; Department C03, Ministry of Public Security mobilized support for 400 houses to support poor households and households with housing difficulties in 6 border districts.

The total funding for support is 141 billion VND, of which the Ministry of Public Security mobilized 71 billion VND; Department C03, Ministry of Public Security mobilized 20 billion VND and Nghe An Police mobilized 50 billion VND.

Up to now, after nearly 4 months of implementation, with the special attention of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security; direct, regular, continuous and close direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Committee of Nghe An province, the participation of the entire political system, local authorities, the Fatherland Front and functional sectors, and assigned support forces, up to now, 2,820 houses called for and mobilized by the Public Security force to be built in the form of prefabricated houses have been completed, ensuring standards and quality for handover to the poor and people with housing difficulties and exceeding the set schedule.

During the implementation of C03 - Ministry of Public Security, Dong Nai Provincial Police and Nghe An Provincial Police continued to mobilize and supported 1,120 more houses than planned, the total number of houses supported by the police force for the province is currently 3,940 houses, equivalent to 197 billion VND.

Expressing his joy at attending the closing ceremony, on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang - Deputy Minister of Public Security respectfully thanked the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province for implementing the meaningful program; sincerely thanked the sponsors and benefactors for supporting resources. These are extremely noble, practical and meaningful gestures, actions and deeds, contributing significantly to improving people's lives and promoting the country's socio-economic development.

Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang praised and highly appreciated the units under the Ministry of Public Security, especially the leaders, officers and soldiers of Nghe An Provincial Police, who, in a short time and with a large workload, have both well implemented the tasks of ensuring security and order and excellently completed the task of building and handing over houses to people; requested to promote the spirit of serving the people to be closer to the people, to help the people more.

Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang congratulated the families who were given houses; hoping that with the new houses, the families will have stable and solid accommodation, feel secure in working, producing, improving their lives, contributing to the work of protecting security and order at the grassroots level and building and developing the local economy and society.

On behalf of Steering Committee 1838, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Thai Thanh Quy emphasized: The province identifies building houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties as one of the most important political tasks, given top priority.

As soon as the idea was born and the program was implemented, Nghe An province was very grateful to have received the very important and enthusiastic support and companionship of many leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, ministries, departments, central agencies, organizations, units, enterprises, businessmen and localities.

In particular, the Ministry of Public Security is one of the pioneering units that has accompanied and supported the province in implementing the program since the first days of implementation. "This is a great gift for the province and is especially meaningful for the poor. We have taken it as a belief, as a motivation to strive to achieve political determination; as a "foundation", "basis" to persuade and mobilize units and organizations inside and outside the province to accompany and support the program", the Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee shared.

After nearly 6 months since the launch, the whole province has completed the construction of more than 3,200 houses, including 2,820 houses for poor households and households with housing difficulties in 27 border communes of 6 border districts of the province including Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Que Phong, Con Cuong, Anh Son, Thanh Chuong from the support of the Ministry of Public Security and Nghe An Provincial Police.

“It can be said that this result is a miracle, because it was deployed and completed in the shortest time, with the largest number ever, in the most remote and difficult areas of the province,” said the Provincial Party Secretary.

To achieve that result, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed the spirit of determination, focus, and gaining consensus and high support from the people, effectively promoting people's strength and mobilizing the maximum political system to carry out this particularly meaningful task.

The Party Committees and authorities of the border localities have mobilized support of more than 10 billion VND to build the foundation; the functional forces and the people have voluntarily contributed tens of thousands of working days to build the houses. The past few days have truly become a "Festival of the whole army and the whole people building houses for the poor" in the mountainous border areas.

In particular, the provincial police force volunteered to take on the role of core force, main force, directly participating in house construction. More than 3,000 police officers and soldiers of the province did not hesitate to work hard, digging foundations day and night, "carrying" materials across passes, rivers and streams, making a very important contribution to completing the construction of houses for people on schedule, ensuring the process and quality of the project.

With the new, spacious and solid houses completed, handed over and put into use today, it will significantly contribute to helping poor households and households in difficult circumstances in the province's border areas have a warm home to settle down, stabilize their lives, and strive to have a better life. This is also a great goal and task in the development process of the province to improve the living standards of people between regions; at the same time, this is also an important premise, a sustainable solution to contribute to ensuring security and order on the border, successfully implementing the Project to build drug-free border communes, and moving towards building drug-free districts.

Through the peak period, the people, officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security will become more closely involved, understand and grasp the area better, share more with the people, serve better and more effectively their political and professional tasks; thereby, the people will also trust and love the People's Public Security soldiers more, "Forgetting themselves for the country, serving the people".

With the desire to "leave no one behind" and "help the poor and disadvantaged people find housing and settle down soon", at the beginning of this year, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee launched the implementation of the Program to mobilize and support the construction of houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties in Nghe An province for the period 2023 - 2025; issued Directive No. 21-CT/TU dated February 10, 2023 on strengthening the Party's leadership in mobilizing and supporting the construction and repair of houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties; in which the goal is to strive to basically complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province by the end of 2025, including building 9,200 new houses and repairing 6,100 houses. Nghe An province's goal in 2023 is to build 5,000 new houses and repair 500 houses for poor households and households with housing difficulties. To date, the program has received 12,568 support registrations, equivalent to 637.142 billion VND.
