Ranked 7th on the list with 4.3/5 stars is stir-fried water spinach with garlic. Described by a famous culinary website as a “traditional Vietnamese dish”, stir-fried water spinach with garlic is especially suitable for vegetarian travelers.
The ingredients to make this attractive dish include: Water spinach, garlic, cooking oil, salt, sugar and fish sauce.
“The water spinach is blanched, then stir-fried with garlic, salt and sugar. Fish sauce is added near the end of the cooking process,” Taste Atlas states.
This vegetable dish is almost always served fresh and is considered “a great side dish with white rice.”
Hue's specialty of sour shrimp is also an option that, according to Taste Atlas , is extremely worthy of appearing on the list.
“Although the shrimp are fermented, they look quite fresh on the outside. The shrimp are washed, their heads removed, then marinated in rice wine for 7-10 days, filtered and mixed with galangal, bamboo shoots, garlic, red chili, fish sauce and sticky rice,” the famous culinary site emphasized.
