The 5th Lullaby and Folk Song Festival of Binh Dinh Province - 2023: Phu Cat District Women's Union won first prize
(BD) - On June 12, the Provincial Women's Union coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports to organize the 5th Binh Dinh Province Lullaby and Folk Song Festival - 2023, attracting more than 140 members, actors, and artists from 12 teams of the Women's Unions of districts, towns, cities and the Provincial Women's Armed Forces Association to participate.

12 teams competed in 2 parts: greetings and lullabies, folk songs. The teams used genres of poetry, folk songs, typical of lullabies, folk songs of Binh Dinh, folk songs of the South Central region, clearly showing the cultural identity of the region, bearing the imprint of the locality, elaborately staged, rich, closely following the theme of praising the Party, Uncle Ho, praising the homeland, the country; love for people, the fine traditions of Vietnamese women; propagating the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress, the Resolution of the 20th Binh Dinh Provincial Women's Congress and the Resolution of the Women's Congress at all levels, term 2021-2026; propagating the key tasks of the Women's Union... bringing many emotions to the listeners, receiving enthusiastic cheers from the audience.

At the end of the Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Women's Union of Phu Cat district, 2 second prizes to the Women's Union of An Nhon town and Quy Nhon city, 3 third prizes to the Women's Union of Hoai Nhon town, Tuy Phuoc district and the Provincial Armed Forces; 6 teams of the Women's Union of Hoai An, Vinh Thanh, An Lao, Van Canh, Phu My and Tay Son received consolation prizes.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 5 secondary prizes to the contestants, including: Nguyen Thi Ly (Hoai Nhon Town Women's Union) for the best folk song; Vo Thi Kim Tam (Phu Cat District Women's Union) for the best lullaby; Dinh Thi Gam (An Lao District Women's Union) for the best Bana lullaby; Dinh Thi Tuyet (An Lao District Women's Union) for the best H're lullaby; and the best traditional orchestra for the Hoai Nhon Town Women's Union team.

The 5th Lullaby and Folk Song Festival of Binh Dinh Province - 2023 is organized to inherit, preserve and promote the traditional cultural values of Binh Dinh; discover, nurture and expand the core of the mass cultural and artistic movement; improve cultural and spiritual life, arouse and encourage the preservation of lullabies and folk songs among women and the masses. Thereby, promoting propaganda and effectively implementing the emulation movement of the Women's Union at all levels, linking training in the moral qualities of confident, self-respecting, loyal and responsible women.
