Le Tu "Tam Khoe" reunites with Vo Minh Lam "Bay Don" in "Nguoi ven do"

For audiences who love the reformed theater, when mentioning author Minh Khoa, it is impossible to forget the classic work "Nguoi ven do" which was staged on the drama and reformed theater stages. The play was born during the period when the whole country celebrated the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, premiered at the Hanoi Opera House on February 3, 1975 by the Southern Drama Troupe.

Author Minh Khoa composed the play from the Southern battlefield to the North in 1972. The original name of the play was "The Battlefield on the outskirts of the city". This time, producer Hoang Song Viet chose the play "The People on the outskirts of the city" to create opportunities for young artists to have good and difficult roles as a way for them to reach a new peak in their professional development.

People's Artist Hoa Phuong plays Mrs. Bay Don

On the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the complete reunification of the country, composer Hoang Song Viet sees this as an opportunity for young artists to express their gratitude to their predecessors, and not forget the contributions of revolutionary soldiers and those who contributed to bringing peace to the country.

Producer Hoang Song Viet also said that he himself has loved this classic Cai Luong play since the years of national reunification. It was not until now that he had the opportunity to bring it to the stage with director and Meritorious Artist Hoa Ha. He decided to invest so that the younger generation of artists could transform into roles in the works of writer and author Minh Khoa - adapted by Nguyen Gia Nghiem. The play was directed by Meritorious Artist Hoa Ha, with Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam as assistant director.

People's Artist Phuong Loan as Tu Ha

According to the cast: Meritorious Artist Le Tu will play the role of Mr. Tam Khoe, Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam will play the role of Mr. Bay Don. These are two memorable roles of the late People's Artist Ut Tra On and artist Thanh Duoc before on the stage of Saigon 1 Opera Troupe.

Meritorious Artist Le Hong Tham plays the role of Nghia - the role previously played by artist Phuong Lien.

People's Artist Phuong Loan plays the role of Tu Ha - the role of the late artist Thanh Thanh Hoa; Meritorious Artist Le Hong Tham plays the role of Nghia - the role of artist Phuong Lien before.

People's Artist Hoa Phuong from the Huong Tram - Ca Mau Opera Troupe went to Ho Chi Minh City to play the role of Ba Bay Don - the role of the sad woman Ut Bach Lan.
