On the afternoon of November 28, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, Steering Committee for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses and the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council held a launching ceremony for the peak emulation campaign "300 days of joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in the province.

The conference was held directly at the Provincial Conference Center, connecting online to the bridge points of districts, cities, and communes, wards, and towns throughout the province.

Currently, the whole province still has 2,106 poor and near-poor households in difficult circumstances who do not have a house or are living in temporary, dilapidated houses; of which the need to build 1,164 new houses and renovate 942 houses requires the joint efforts, consensus, and participation of the entire political system, business community and society so that the poor can soon have stable and safe housing.

At the launching ceremony, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Comrade Vu Thanh Van, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, read the call for all people to participate in supporting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.

The Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee emphasized: Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front with the message "A million loving hearts - a thousand happy homes", the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee earnestly calls on agencies, units, enterprises, businessmen, organizations, religions; officers and soldiers of the armed forces; civil servants, public employees, workers, people of all walks of life in the province and Thai Binh people outside the province with a compassionate heart to continue joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in the province. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee respectfully acknowledges and expresses gratitude for all the kindness and noble gestures of organizations, individuals, business communities, and businessmen inside and outside the province, and at the same time commits to coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee to manage and use support resources for the right purposes, effectively, publicly, and transparently.

In order to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere and effectively implement the emulation movement "300 days of joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in the province, striving for the goal of completing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households by September 2025, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee requested agencies, organizations, enterprises, collectives, individuals, cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers; soldiers of the armed forces; members of unions and mass organizations; people of all walks of life in Thai Binh province, Thai Binh people living in all regions of the country and abroad to join hands and actively participate in contributing and responding to the emulation movement with the motto of diversifying forms of support: Whoever has something to contribute, whoever has merit to contribute, whoever has property to contribute, whoever has a lot to contribute a lot, whoever has little to contribute little, creating an emulation movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province.

He requested that Party committees and authorities at all levels focus on leading and directing the mobilization of resources from the State, society, businesses and the entire population to successfully implement the set goals. He requested that heads of agencies, units and localities promote the highest responsibility of setting an example, being a pioneer, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility for the common good. Carry out tasks proactively, positively, effectively, flexibly, without formality, without waiting, relying on, or shirking responsibility. Payment procedures must be simple and convenient. During the implementation process, strictly ensure standards, processes, regulations and comply with the law in the process of providing housing support to the right people, with quality, practicality, and efficiency, without allowing negativity, corruption, or waste.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee requested the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations, socio-professional organizations, social organizations, and media agencies to do a good job of propaganda, create consensus in society, join hands to contribute, respond to the emulation movement in many different forms in the highest possible conditions, together take care of the material and spiritual life of the people, especially the poor, the disadvantaged, and those in difficult circumstances, leaving no one behind. At the same time, promote the role of social supervision and criticism on social security policies, eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

He suggested that at the end of the emulation movement, all levels and sectors should conduct a summary, evaluation, and draw lessons from experience in organizing and directing the emulation movement; at the same time, there should be appropriate forms of rewards to commend and honor advanced models in implementing the movement.

At the launching ceremony, 103 agencies, organizations, businesses, and philanthropists donated 45 billion VND to join hands in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households.
