On the evening of February 7 (January 10), the Management Board of Dai Hung Historical and Cultural Relic Site (Dau Lieu Ward, Hong Linh Town) held the opening ceremony of the spring of At Ty 2025 in a solemn and respectful atmosphere.
The ceremony was attended by Comrade Vo Trong Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives of departments, branches, and a large number of people and Buddhists from all over. In the ringing sound of the temple bell, traditional rituals such as chanting the Medicine Master Sutra, offering incense, and opening the seal were performed, expressing the wishes for national peace and prosperity, good weather, and favorable winds and rains. Despite the cold weather and drizzle of spring rain, thousands of visitors still sincerely attended the ceremony, demonstrating the long-standing beliefs of the Vietnamese people.
The seal-opening ceremony at Dai Hung Pagoda is held annually on January 10, with the meaning of expressing gratitude to the Hung Kings and praying for a peaceful and lucky new year. Dai Hung Pagoda is one of the four famous ancient temples of Ha Tinh, built during the Tran Dynasty, closely associated with the history of Hong Linh land. After many ups and downs, the pagoda has been restored, becoming an important cultural and spiritual destination of the province.
The spring opening ceremony not only has religious significance, but also contributes to preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, demonstrating the connection between Buddhism and the nation. Every year, Dai Hung Pagoda attracts tens of thousands of tourists and Buddhists to make pilgrimages and worship, thereby spreading the good values of Buddhism in community life.
