Lao Cai: Local farmers urgently harvest spring rice

This year's spring rice crop, the whole province planted 9,835 hectares, equal to 100.4% of the plan, of which Lao Cai city 478 hectares, Bat Xat more than 1,000 hectares, Bao Thang more than 1,576 hectares, Van Ban 3,360 hectares, Bao Yen 2,600 hectares, Muong Khuong 424 hectares, Bac Ha 393 hectares.

Up to now, local farmers have harvested 3,103 hectares, reaching 31.5% of the cultivated area, equivalent to the same period in the spring crop of 2023. Specifically, Bao Thang harvested 1,088 hectares, Bao Yen harvested 832 hectares, Van Ban harvested 723 hectares, and Bat Xat harvested 460 hectares.
