On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), on the morning of August 29, at the Monument to the Provincial Heroes and Martyrs and the Martyrs Cemetery of Nam Dinh city, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, and armed forces of the province; the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, and armed forces of Nam Dinh city held an incense offering and wreath laying ceremony to commemorate the heroic martyrs.
Attending the incense offering ceremony were comrades: Pham Gia Tuc, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Quoc Chinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Pham Dinh Nghi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, organizations, armed forces, representatives of religious dignitaries of Nam Dinh province and city.
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation respectfully offered incense and expressed their infinite gratitude to the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and for the happiness of the people.
In front of the heroic martyrs, the Party Committee, government and people of the whole province vow to unite, be of one mind, strive to compete, and be determined to successfully complete the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025, striving to build Nam Dinh province to be increasingly developed, rich and civilized.
After the incense offering ceremony, provincial and city leaders burned incense at the graves of heroic martyrs at the Nam Dinh City Martyrs Cemetery.
