On the morning of December 20, the delegation of the Party Central Committee, the President, the National Assembly, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense laid wreaths, visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son Street (Hanoi).

Former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; former Presidents Nguyen Minh Triet and Truong Tan Sang; former Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; Politburo members: Standing member of the Secretariat, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Cam Tu; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien; Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense, General Phan Van Giang; Politburo members, Secretaries of the Party Central Committee, Vice Presidents, Deputy Prime Ministers, Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly, and many leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, leaders of the Ministry of National Defense and central departments, ministries, branches and organizations attended the funeral.

The delegation's wreath bore the inscription "Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh."
Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the leaders of the Party, National Assembly, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense vow to persevere on the path President Ho Chi Minh chose, creatively applying his ideology to continue to maintain and develop the country's revolutionary cause to achieve new achievements.
