(Fatherland) - On the evening of November 6, in Tuyen Quang city, the red carpet program and movie premiere "Going to the legendary land" took place.
The event is part of the "Cinema with Tuyen Quang tourism" development promotion program in 2024. "Going to the legendary land" is a 3-episode film, all scenes were filmed in Tuyen Quang and completed last August.
As a province with a diverse and rich culture, with many historical and cultural relics along with a typical forest ecosystem combined with rivers, lakes, mountains, hills with the beauty of the highlands, poetic and majestic mountain scenery, Tuyen Quang is always one of the localities that not only possesses a lot of potential to promote tourism through cinema, but is also a famous place with many rare herbs. The TV series "Going to the legendary land" is expected to bring images of tourism and unique cultural identity of Tuyen Quang, contributing to promoting the image of nature, people, cultural identity and tourism potential of Tuyen Quang to domestic and international friends through cinema.
Speaking at the program, director Trieu Tuan said: "The people of Tuyen Quang are compassionate, love their homeland, are not afraid of difficulties, and overcome all difficulties. Especially the young people, who are not afraid of getting rich, because they believe that getting rich is an opportunity for everyone. In this film, we want to convey the message to the young people that, do not be afraid or afraid of anything, try to get rich in your own homeland."
The event is part of the program series promoting the development of "Cinema with Tuyen Quang tourism" in 2024.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Cuong, the film's investor, shared: "Through the film "Going to the legendary land", I want to send a visual message to friends around the world, to the people of Vietnam, and to guide Vietnamese youth to have a new perspective on the possibility of starting a business".
Earlier, in the morning of the same day, the Vietnam Cinema Association; Vietnam Film Institute; Vietnam Cinema Promotion and Development Association; Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Asian Tourism Development Institute; film production enterprises; directors, actors... visited, experienced, and surveyed some film scenes at Na Hang Eco-tourism Area, Lam Binh, where the TV series "Going to the legendary land" took place.
According to the delegates' assessment, the scenic spots of Tuyen Quang in general and Na Hang and Lam Binh in particular are very suitable for many filming locations of television dramas and movies.
According to the schedule, tomorrow morning (November 7), the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Tuyen Quang in coordination with the Vietnam Cinema Association; Department of Cinema; Vietnam Film Institute; Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Asian Tourism Development Institute will organize a specialized workshop with the theme "Cinema, tourism - connecting far and wide". The workshop will be attended by many experts on cultural, economic and cinema development policies; prestigious domestic and international filmmakers.
