(Fatherland) - Booking.com officially announced the "10 friendliest destinations in the world" within the framework of the 13th Traveller Review Awards, Kien Giang province (Vietnam) is proud to be on this list.

Based on more than 360 million verified customer reviews, the Traveller Review Awards honor travel partners that have consistently delivered outstanding service to make every traveler’s journey more memorable. 2025 marks a record year with 1.71 million certified partners, up 16% from the previous year, including 1,711,539 accommodations, 1,329 car rental companies and 124 taxi service providers. In Vietnam alone, 13,003 partners were awarded, including 6,502 in the Home-Like-Home category (up from 11,360 partners in 2024).

This year’s World’s Friendliest Destinations list is determined by the ratio of Traveller Review Award winners to the total number of properties in a particular destination, highlighting diverse destinations that span continents. They must also have a higher-than-average number of winners (a minimum of 200 for cities and regions) and are selected geographically to ensure regional diversity. From coffee farms, pristine beaches, or jungle-covered towns, these destinations represent the world’s diverse and captivating beauty and will inspire travellers to embark on memorable journeys this year.

Booking.com, one of the leading online travel platforms, said that within the framework of the Traveller Review Awards 2025, Kien Giang (Vietnam) achieved a record of 1.71 million travel partners across 212 countries and territories honored with categories of excellent friendly and hospitable services.
Italy leads the way in the number of award recipients for the eighth consecutive year, with 207,730 partners honored, followed by France (155,203 partners), Spain (147,700 partners), Germany (102,031 partners) and the UK (88,209 partners). In Vietnam, 13,003 Booking.com partners were awarded this year, recognized for their consistent and excellent service.
