As the eldest son of my parents, the eldest grandson of the family, I have grown up in the love and teachings of my grandparents and parents since I was a child. I have inherited all the best educational conditions that my family can afford and the discipline of the family to shoulder the responsibility of the eldest son in the family and the eldest grandson of my grandparents. That is why I grew up in the safety of myself and my family, never having the thought of challenging my limits in any field.
Standing with my dad on top of Lao Than mountain, 2862m high - the roof of Y Ty. I want to conquer many more peaks in my life.
I had a peaceful, happy and safe childhood.
After graduating from university, I also returned to pursue the banking industry that my family wanted. I have never gone against my family's wishes in any important decisions in my life. I thought everything would be perfect, I would feel happy... but no... maybe it's just that I feel satisfied in the safe circle that my family has created for me since I was young, but I myself don't know what more I need to feel happier every day... As a son, I often talk to my mother more but rarely talk about this topic. My father is a quiet and reserved person but always understands and knows what I need at the right time...
Join Trekking Lao Than because of the responsibility of the eldest son and eldest grandson... Go to take care of dad!
Early last August, my father asked me to join “The Heroes' Journey” to conquer the 11th highest mountain in Vietnam, Lao Than mountain - the roof of Y Ty, with the MBBank delegation organized for MB's close journalists and reporters. The program was part of a series of events celebrating MB's 30th birthday of the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MBBank), where my father and I are working. Having never disobeyed my father, I reluctantly agreed out of habit, as I am a fair-skinned, intellectual scholar in the true sense and have no passion for mountain climbing. I also went with my father, conveniently prepared his luggage and took care of him during the trip so that the family could rest assured. That is also my responsibility when I grow up...
A reporter in the group told me: perhaps the greatest victory for my father on this journey is seeing me happy.
Standing with Dad on the top of a 2862m high mountain, surrounded by a magical scene where clouds, wind and sun blend together, where terraced fields remain green despite the harsh weather. Witnessing with my own eyes the majestic mountains, the floating clouds, the majestic and peaceful landscape like a painting. Something that I have never seen or even thought of conquering since I was born.
Standing on the high mountain, I want to realize the feeling of true happiness…
Perhaps I understood what my father wanted to tell me when he invited me to overcome my previous limits to conquer Lao Than peak, to overcome myself... to find true happiness for myself in life.
I will try to go beyond my comfort zone so that my "dad" and family will always be happy like this.
I know that the next journey will be full of hardships and excitement, challenging all limits and discovering my own abilities in my career.
I want my youth journey to be a journey to conquer new heights in my career!
The goal of conquering new achievements in my career is not only my parents' wish but also my own "ambition".
The first night of “The Heroes' Journey”, on the top of a high mountain with no mobile signal, no internet… my group of climbers and I were immersed in nature, the clouds, the starry night sky without the electric lights of crowded cities. Those moments were memorable, and were the premise to help me find myself when I reached the highest point of this mountain early the next morning.
Joining Trekking Lao Than with MBBank is the beginning of a journey to conquer new heights in my life.
I knew that my father's gentle and satisfied smile when he looked at me was when he knew that I had truly understood the meaning of this journey. I was touched and also silently thanked my father for this lesson. My father and I went down the mountain together after enjoying and recording the moments with Lao Than peak - the roof of Y Ty, with the majestic nature of the "Island in the sky" with villages in the clouds and then down the mountain.
My father brought me the experience of “The Heroes' Journey”, giving me the opportunity to face challenges and the risk of failure, the opportunity to struggle with difficulties and learn how to solve problems. This “victory” helped me overcome my fear of facing the limits of safety and confidently stand up and move forward. The incidents in the journey helped me realize: failure or mistakes are a very normal thing, they are also opportunities to learn, gain experience and continue to conquer new heights in life.
The "sharing love" stop of "The Heroes' Journey" on the journey to conquer the 11th highest mountain in Vietnam, Lao Than mountain - the roof of Y Ty, organized by MBBank's team for MB's close reporters and journalists.
Going to the top of the mountain, the trip helped me feel happy for myself…
When I got down the mountain… at the stop at the end of the journey, I learned another lesson about the responsibility of sharing love with everyone when participating in volunteer activities with the group…
“So now you have new clothes for the new school year, you won't be afraid of the cold anymore…”
“The Heroes' Journey” ended its journey to conquer the 11th highest mountain in Vietnam, Lao Than mountain - the roof of Y Ty, with a meaningful stopover with the activity of sharing love, helping children go to school at Phin Ho school - Y Ty Kindergarten, Bat Xat, Lao Cai... a beautiful and humane stopover, helping me gain profound lessons...
100% of the students at this school are ethnic minorities Mong, Dao, Ha Nhi... their daily life is still difficult. Lots of milk, food, gifts to support teachers and students in teaching and learning. We personally dressed the children in new warm coats, while I heard a parent from a small village unable to hide her joy and emotion: "So now we have new coats for the new school year, we don't have to be afraid of the cold anymore..." Just the short sentences of the ethnic minority mother encouraging her child moved me and I will remember them forever.
Thank you MBBank with "The Heroes' Journey" and the journalists and reporters, members of the Lao Than - Y Ty Roof Trekking Group.
Hopefully, like the way I conquered Lao Than mountain peak in the recent "The Heroes' Journey", teachers and students here and their parents will try to overcome difficulties and challenges so that the children can go to school to study well, and later contribute to building a more prosperous family and homeland. ...
