This is a meaningful social security project within the general plan of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group to be deployed in Hai Phong in 2023.
Speaking at the ceremony, Petro Vietnam Deputy General Director Le Xuan Huyen acknowledged and highly appreciated the extremely active implementation of the construction unit and local authorities in coordinating with the Sponsor and constructing the project.
Sharing at the ceremony, Mr. Le Xuan Huyen said that over the years, Petro Vietnam and PVFCCo have always made positive contributions to the country's economy, and are also typical enterprises leading in social security work across the country. For Hai Phong city in particular, from 2019 to now, the Group has spent nearly 45 billion VND on social security work, including An Lao district.
PVFCCo is a member of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group. In addition to its business successes, with the motto "responsibility - sharing", PVFCCo is very active in implementing the general social security work of Petro Vietnam.
Up to now, the unit has sponsored more than 25 thousand Great Solidarity houses, hundreds of schools, hospitals, medical stations, and rural bridges; tens of thousands of scholarships were awarded to students; tens of thousands of Tet gifts were brought to disadvantaged families across the country, including the Cultural, Physical Education, and Community House directly sponsored by PVFCCo in An Tho commune worth 5.4 billion VND.
Petro Vietnam Deputy General Director believes that the project of the Cultural, Physical Education and Community House will contribute practically to the development of the locality, helping people have more places to organize meaningful cultural and community activities, improving the spiritual and cultural life, creating a happy and healthy life for the people.
On behalf of the local government and people, Ms. Ngo Thi Thanh Thuy - Chairwoman of An Lao District People's Committee sent her sincere thanks to the leaders of Petro Vietnam and PVFCCo for their attention and support for the local people, and hoped that in the coming time, oil and gas enterprises will continue to pay attention and support social security work in the locality.
