The above content was shared by Mr. Chau Ngo Anh Nhan, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Planning and Investment with VietNamNet reporter about investment attraction in the province last year.

On Nhan said that from the beginning of the year to December 31, 2024, the whole province had 1,855 newly established enterprises, with a total registered capital of nearly 11,760 billion VND.

Last year, the province attracted 26 non-budget investment projects, with a total registered capital of over VND50,650 billion. The locality had 17 projects with increased capital, with a total registered investment capital increase of nearly VND3,100 billion.

Regarding the implementation and disbursement of public investment, Mr. Nhan informed that by January this year, the rate reached about 82.9% compared to the plan assigned by the Prime Minister; if compared to the actual capital plan assigned by Khanh Hoa province, the disbursement rate reached 95%.

According to Mr. Nhan, the implementation of public investment plans is still difficult and has problems, affecting the progress and disbursement of projects. The objective reason is that the site clearance work for the projects is slow.

In 2025, the Provincial People's Committee will continue to direct units and localities to speed up compensation and site clearance work.

More specifically, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment will continue to summarize the difficulties and problems of localities related to compensation and site clearance (if any). From there, the department will promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee to handle arising issues so that localities can complete site clearance work on schedule.
