On the morning of November 30, in the center of Ha Tinh city, the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association held the opening ceremony of the art photography exhibition "Heroic Army - Exemplary Veterans" by author, member of the Photography major, Journalist Le Anh Thi - Head of the Ha Tinh Art Photography Club.
Attending the ceremony were: Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Journalists Association Nguyen Xuan Hai; Director of the Department of Information and Communications Dau Tung Lam, former provincial leaders; representatives of the Provincial Union of Literature and Arts, the Vietnam Association of Writers and Artists in Ha Tinh, departments, branches and a large number of war veterans and artists.
The photo exhibition “Heroic Army – Exemplary Veterans” by author Le Anh Thi includes 50 works sponsored by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists; introducing images of the activities of the Ha Tinh armed forces, Ha Tinh veterans; the land and people of Ha Tinh in the renovation of the homeland and the country; especially images of Truong Sa archipelago that he recorded during a business trip to Truong Sa island in 2018.
After 40 years of writing, holding a camera and traveling everywhere, author Le Anh Thi always focuses his lens on the subject of soldiers, even when they have returned to civilian life, continuing to promote the nature and tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers". This is an opportunity for him to introduce his photos - his brainchildren after many years of creative work.
At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, the organizing committee coordinated with businesses, units and some central newspapers based in the area to present 35 gifts with a total value of nearly 30 million VND to Heroic Mother of Vietnam, Little Guerrilla Girl Nguyen Thi Kim Lai, relatives of martyrs, and war veterans in difficult circumstances.
This photo exhibition takes place over 2 days, November 30 and December 1; is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Veterans Association (December 6, 1989 - December 6, 2024).
