The 2024 Hawthorn Flower Festival officially opened in Ngoc Chien Commune, Muong La District on the evening of March 9. The event will take place from March 9-10 and offer a series of attractive cultural and tourism activities and experiences in Nam Nghep Village (Nam Nghiep).

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Mr. Phung Manh Hiep - Chairman of Muong La District People's Committee and Head of the Festival Organizing Committee, emphasized the formation and development of Ngoc Chien tourism industry, leaving a deep impression on visitors. The Son Tra Flower Festival is an opportunity for visitors from near and far to admire the wonderful beauty of Son Tra flowers, and at the same time explore the traditional cultural identity of ethnic groups in general and Ngoc Chien commune in particular.
Ngoc Chien Commune, located at an average altitude of 1,800m above sea level, is known as the "Fairyland" with majestic natural scenery and cool climate all year round. Every year, Ngoc Chien attracts thousands of domestic and foreign tourists.
In particular, this destination is also famous for its hot mineral spring system, with an average temperature of 37 - 40 degrees Celsius all year round, creating a unique and special tourism product.
