On August 1, VinFast held an early handover ceremony for the first VF 3 low-cost mini electric cars to customers in Ho Chi Minh City. On the same day, another handover ceremony also took place in Hanoi.
According to research, this time VinFast delivered 9 cars to customers in Ho Chi Minh City and 99 cars to customers who pre-ordered in Hanoi. VF 3 is VinFast's first small urban car model designed with 2 doors and a square shape. 4 basic colors and 5 advanced colors. Dimensions of length x width x height are 3,190 mm x 1,679 mm x 1,652 mm respectively. The car is equipped with a battery pack capable of traveling 215 km after each full charge, fast charging from 10% to 70% within 36 minutes. The electric motor has a maximum capacity of 30 kW, rear-wheel drive for the ability to accelerate from 0 km to 50 km/h in 5.3 seconds. The selling price of VF 3 with battery rental is 240 million VND, and with battery sold is 322 million VND. The monthly battery rental fee is 900,000 VND for a distance of less than 1,500 km, 1.2 million VND for a distance of 1,500 - 2,500 km and 2 million VND for a distance of over 2,500 km. The vehicle has a 7-year warranty, the battery has an 8-year warranty.
Many customers came to see the VF 3 electric car displayed at Landmark 81
In Ho Chi Minh City, the ceremony took place at 11am at Landmark 81 building, Binh Thanh district, but from 8am, many guests had come to experience about 10 VF3s on display here. Mr. Bui Quoc Trong (residing in Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City) said that when he heard the information about handing over the car to the customer, he took the opportunity to come early to see the car model that has been very popular on the internet recently.
