Lasting more than 5 hours, the Final Selection Council of the 2024 Vietnam Golden Star Award selected the representative brands of the Top 10, Top 100, and Top 200.

On the morning of November 27, 2024, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association held a Conference of the Final Selection Council for the Vietnam Golden Star Award 2024.

Many business profiles were opened and publicly reviewed to ensure that “emotionality” was minimized in the evaluation and ranking of candidate businesses. The top 200 businesses were selected from 230 businesses participating in the appraisal round, based on public scores, calculated on groups of criteria including total assets, total revenue, equity, profit after tax, budget payment, return on equity (ROE), and total number of employees. Each criterion has a corresponding weight. The opinions and assessments of the appraisal team are also an important basis for the Council to evaluate and consider the rankings of businesses.

Some businesses were disqualified due to not providing tax and social insurance confirmation documents on time - mandatory criteria of the Award. The Voting Council conducted a secret ballot to select the title of TOP10/ TOP100/ TOP200 - Typical Vietnamese Brand.

Although the Top 10 list will only be announced at the 2024 Vietnam Golden Star Awards Ceremony, taking place on December 24, 2024 in Hanoi, it can be seen that this year's Top 10 faces have surpassed not only the participating businesses but also the evaluation, review and voting rounds of the members of the Final Selection Council. Before voting to select the Top 10, the 20 most typical businesses of the industry groups and products were carefully and responsibly selected. The heads of the appraisal teams of these businesses were asked to give their opinions on analysis and evaluation. Businesses in the same industry were also "put on the table" to consider each indicator. Some multi-industry businesses were also considered for the proportion of each industry, ensuring that the industry classification was in accordance with regulations.
