iPhone 16 series officially launched in Vietnam, which version is 'sold out'?

Early morning on September 27, mobile phone retail chains in Vietnam officially released the first batch of iPhone 16 series deposits. Like every year, some versions of the iPhone 16 Pro Max model quickly sold out.

This year is also the first year since the iPhone 12 series was launched at midnight instead of 6am as usual. Therefore, since last night (September 26), many customers who pre-ordered have been waiting at stores to receive their devices.

Due to the large number of pre-orders, many customers had to wait 2-3 hours to receive their devices.

According to a representative of the CellphoneS store chain, as of September 26, the system recorded nearly 30,000 interested customers and 10,000 customers successfully pre-ordering the iPhone 16 series, an increase of nearly 70% compared to the previous generation.

Of these, the most expensive device - iPhone 16 Pro Max accounts for nearly 60% of total orders. For the iPhone 16 Pro line, it accounts for about 30% of total orders.

For iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, it accounts for about 10% of the total pile. Of which, this year's iPhone 16 Plus version achieved about 5%. Customers who chose the regular and Plus versions were interested in Pink and Blue, and the 128GB and 256GB capacities were chosen almost similarly.

According to a representative of CellphoneS, like every year, some versions will still be out of stock in the first batch of returns. This year, the iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max in Desert Titan color also sold out soon after the deposit was opened. However, this unit still tried to return more than 2,500 devices early to customers who pre-ordered in the first batch.

"It is expected that after 2-3 weeks of official sale, goods will be replenished and customers will be able to buy these hot versions more easily," he said.

Meanwhile, a representative of Viettel Store said that the system is expected to successfully deliver 16,000 devices to pre-ordered customers on the first day. Viettel Store has recorded 50,000 pre-ordered customers and 35,000 deposit customers since September 20.

The TopZone system is expected to deliver more than 20,000 machines on the first day and 10,000 machines in the following days. Particularly at the two TopZone APR stores in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi , 3,000 machines were delivered directly on the opening night.

It is known that in the first phase of sales, retailers also offered many incentive programs when buying iPhone 16. For example, at CellphoneS, there is a subsidy of up to 5 million when trading in an old phone to upgrade, and a discount of up to 2 million when paying via bank credit card or linked e-wallet. As well as supporting installment payments with 0% interest, no surcharges, no down payment. In addition, this unit also offers discounts on some accessories.
