Soc Son district has 2 more communes that meet the standards of model rural areas.

After completing the construction of advanced new rural areas in 2023, the two communes of Tien Duoc and Nam Son continue to mobilize resources and complete the criteria in a model direction.

In which, Tien Duoc commune determines to build a model new rural area in 4 areas: production, health, culture, education and training; Nam Son commune strives to build a model rural area in 3 areas: production, health, culture.

On October 18, the Hanoi City appraisal delegation, including representatives of departments and branches, conducted a field survey, reviewed and evaluated the records and supporting documents of the two communes of Tien Duoc and Nam Son.

Although there are still some criteria that need to be further improved and enhanced, however, with an objective spirit, the delegation members agreed that both communes are qualified to complete the construction of a model new rural area in the proposed fields.

Deputy Chief of Office of the Office of the Coordination Office of the New Rural Development Program of Hanoi City Ngo Van Ngon spoke at the conference.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Soc Son district Do Minh Tuan said that the two communes of Tien Duoc and Nam Son have their own advantages for development. For Tien Duoc commune, it is located in the central area of ​​the district. "Recently, the commune's detailed planning was approved, so it has favorable conditions to develop Tien Duoc into a central ward in the future satellite city of Soc Son" - Mr. Do Minh Tuan added.

Regarding Nam Son commune, the representative of Soc Son district said that the locality has many strengths to develop agriculture and eco-tourism. In the coming time, the district will continue to seek support from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to promote the above fields.

Regarding the shortcomings and limitations that the Appraisal Team has commented on, the district will accept them and, together with the district's departments, branches and communes, complete them to build a model new rural commune with the best results.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Chief of Office of the Hanoi City New Rural Development Program Coordination Office, Head of the appraisal delegation Ngo Van Ngon requested that the two communes of Tien Duoc and Nam Son fully absorb the comments of the appraisal delegation members; promptly complete the report for the City Council to evaluate, submit to competent authorities for consideration and recognition of meeting the standards of a model new rural area.

Mr. Ngo Van Ngon also suggested that localities continue to mobilize resources, focus on building comprehensive new-style rural areas, towards building increasingly civilized and prosperous rural areas...

With Tien Duoc and Nam Son communes meeting the conditions to reach the model new rural area finish line, up to now, Soc Son district has had 11 communes completing the construction of model new rural areas.
