On the afternoon of February 18, the provincial delegation participating in the 2025 Spring Meeting Program and the 16th Conference of the Joint Working Committee between the provinces of Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Ha Giang (Vietnam) and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) in Quang Ninh province held a meeting to discuss preparations for participating in the conference program. Comrade Trinh Truong Huy, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the provincial delegation chaired the meeting. The 2025 Spring Meeting and the 16th Conference of the Joint Working Committee between the four provinces of Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Ha Giang (Vietnam) and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) chaired and hosted by Quang Ninh province, are scheduled to be held on February 20 and 21, 2025. It is expected that over 230 Vietnamese and Chinese delegates will attend, including a delegation of 68 people from Cao Bang province, led by Comrade Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation. Hai Phong City will be a guest to attend so that it can soon become an official member in 2026.
The 2025 Spring Meeting Program and the 16th Conference of the Joint Working Committee in Quang Ninh Province aim to strengthen exchanges and friendly cooperation with the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) in all fields, contributing to building a peaceful, stable, cooperative and developed Vietnam - China border; assess the situation and results of the implementation of the Minutes of the 2024 Spring Meeting between the Provincial Party Committees of Ha Giang, Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Cao Bang (Communist Party of Vietnam) and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee (Communist Party of China) on building a community of sharing the strategic future of Vietnam - China; discuss, agree and propose contents on strengthening exchanges and cooperation in the coming time. Within the framework of this year's Spring Meeting program, there will be activities to display and introduce typical products of 5 provinces/regions; promote trade, investment, tourism, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Trinh Truong Huy, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation, requested the members of the delegation to fully participate and seriously implement the activities according to the plan. The Provincial Party Committee Office, the Provincial People's Committee Office and the Department of Foreign Affairs continue to coordinate with agencies and units to adjust, supplement and complete documents according to the direction on the basis of absorbing the opinions discussed at the meeting. The members of the delegation and the support team continue to promote the spirit of initiative and responsibility, successfully completing the assigned tasks, contributing to the 2025 Spring Meeting program and the 16th meeting of the Joint Working Committee in Quang Ninh province to take place safely and successfully.
