More than 733 thousand candidates have registered for online university admission

Regarding information on admission registration on the Ministry of Education and Training's System, the Department of Higher Education said that as of 5:00 p.m. on July 30, 2024, the time the online admission registration portal was locked, the Ministry of Education and Training's General Admission Support System recorded a total of more than 733,000 candidates who had entered their admission registration wishes, equivalent to 68.5% of the number of candidates registering for the 2024 high school graduation exam.

In 2023, more than 660,000 candidates entered their admission wishes on the System, equivalent to 65.9% of the number of candidates registering for the 2023 high school graduation exam.

Previously, in 2022, the Ministry of Education and Training recorded more than 616,000 candidates registering for university entrance exams, accounting for 64.1% of the number of candidates registering for the 2022 high school graduation exam.

The 2024 high school graduation exam will be held on June 27 and 28, 2024. This year's exam, the total number of candidates registered nationwide is: 1,071,393. Of which, the number of candidates registered online is 1,014,020, accounting for 94.66% of the total number of candidates; the number of candidates registered directly is 57,373, accounting for 5.34%. The total number of independent candidates is 46,978, accounting for 4.38%./.
