On the afternoon of February 11, in Mang Den town, the People's Committee of Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province held a meeting with businesses and households providing tourism and services in Kon Plong district on the occasion of the beginning of the Spring of At Ty 2025.
Meeting sceneIn 2024, Mang Den welcomed more than 1.2 million visitors, an increase of 200,000 compared to 2023, with revenue reaching 420 billion VND. Since the beginning of 2025, Kon Plong district has welcomed more than 374,000 visitors to Mang Den.
Currently, in Kon Plong district, there are 139 accommodation service establishments of various types such as resorts, hotels, homestays, motels... with 1,250 rooms, ensuring service for over 6,000 guests staying and relaxing every day. The average room occupancy rate is: 65-70% (for holidays and Tet, the room occupancy rate is over 90%).

Chairman of Kon Plong District People's Committee Dang Quang Ha said that in 2024, the district organized promotional activities to introduce, promote, and attract investment in projects to develop the fields of trade, services, tourism... Up to now, it has attracted 77 projects, with a total registered area of over 5,000 hectares and a total registered investment capital of over 30,000 billion VND.
Technical infrastructure serving tourism is increasingly invested in, key traffic routes connecting tourist destinations, traffic within the district center are increasingly invested in and upgraded, key projects through the district are implemented by the district, traffic connecting to tourist destinations is invested in repair, upgrade... new tourism products are formed, creating many choices for tourists when coming to Mang Den.
“To achieve this result, we cannot fail to mention the great contribution of businesses and business households - those who directly bring visitors impressive and quality experiences. Thereby, affirming the position of Mang Den as a green, clean, beautiful destination, with pristine nature and the friendliness and hospitality of local people. This is an advantage that Mang Den will further promote in the coming time”, emphasized Mr. Dang Quang Ha.

At the meeting, businesses and households providing tourism and services in Kon Plong district were instructed on how to complete legal procedures in tourism business activities; Introduced the Smart Tourism Portal and the Mang Den Smart Tourism Application Platform; Introduced and deployed the accommodation management platform according to Project 06 of the Ministry of Public Security; Guided on procedures and orientations for forest leasing, linking and cooperating to develop forest ecotourism; Guided on developing a multi-purpose land use plan according to the 2024 Land Law... Signed a cooperation agreement on tourism development between tourism businesses and Community Tourism Villages.
