Hanoi Art Photography Association launches Lavender Photography Club

(NADS) - On the morning of November 18, the Hanoi Association of Fine Arts Photography held the launching ceremony of the Lavender Photography Club. Hoang Ngoc Thach, member of the Executive Committee of the Hanoi NANT Association, is the club's chairman.

Attending the ceremony were Artist Ly Hoang Long, member of the Art Council of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists; Artist Than Nguyen, member of the Art Council of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, Chairman of the Da Nang Association of Photographic Art; Artist Nguyen Van Toan, Chairman of the Hanoi Association of Photographic Art; Artist Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh - Member of the Executive Committee; Head of the Movement Committee of the Hanoi Association of Photographic Art; Artist Hoang Ngoc Thach, member of the Executive Committee of the Hanoi Association of Photographic Art, Chairman of the Lavender Photography Club; Artist - painter Lai Dien Dam and many photographers in the capital;

The Lavender Art Photography Club was launched with 40 members, most of whom are students of artist Hoang Ngoc Thach. The club members are people from all walks of life such as civil servants, businessmen or students, coming to photography as “blank pages” and in a very short time of approaching art photography, most of them only counted in months, but always carry within them a burning passion for this visual art.

Artist Hoang Ngoc Thach, Head of Lavender Photography Club, delivered the opening speech at the ceremony.

At the ceremony, the Club was launched with the following positions: Chairman is Artist Hoang Ngoc Thach and Vice Chairmen are Artists Phung Duc Hung, Viet Nga, Tran Van Thang. Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Club - Artist Hoang Ngoc Thach emphasized the criteria of the Club's artistic activities, which emphasize thinking and creativity in photography. The most important factor to create a valuable photo lies in the artist behind the lens with the mindset "We take photos - Not the camera takes photos". In other words, the artist's perspective and heart are very important to create a valuable photo because "if you look at life with normal eyes, there will be nothing to take photos".

As the Club's President, NSNA Ngoc Thach also confided: "I want to do my best to support those who have a love and passion for photography that I have had the chance to meet - to walk steadily and intelligently on the path of Art."

Artist Nguyen Van Toan, Chairman of Hanoi Association of Art Photography, spoke at the ceremony.

Also at the ceremony, NSNA Nguyen Van Toan, Chairman of the Hanoi Art Photography Association commented: Up to now, the club members have begun to create many photos that have the soul, emotions and reflections of each individual. He also hopes that the launch of the club will promote the spirit of learning, working and creating together, through which the members will strive to create emotional and meaningful photos that contribute to the development of photography in the capital.
